Porta-Rinx™ is a quality and easily assembled portable kit for an ice
skating rink. A kit that literally snaps together! Porta-Rinx™
ice skating rinks are great for schools, municipalities, community
organizations and the backyard of any home.
Kits are available in 8
different sizes from 10" X 20" to 100" X 200'.
Two people can set up a 30'
by 60' Porta-Rinx kit in less than one hour. Fill it with water, level if
needed and let it freeze.
These are high quality skating rinks that will last
for many years. The kit includes an instructional book and DVD video.
Frame:
Porta-Rinx uses a 4" round, crush resistant pipe as a frame. You can
literally drive a truck tire on top of it, "squishing it in half like a
pancake," it is guaranteed not to crack or break.
Liner:
Porta-Rinx uses a 9 mil, Double Laminated, Polyethylene Liner. However,
in the event you do happen to damage/rip this liner, each Porta-Rinx
kit comes with a roll repair tape for repairs.
Fastening System:
The Porta-Rinx Fastening System is the key to our product. The
fastening system secures and fastens the liner to the frame and most
importantly protects the liner 100% from ice skate blades. The fastening
system uses the same 4" crush resistant material as the frame. The Fastening
System snaps over the liner, over the protective strip and over the 4"
frame.
